Marauder is a live album by the English rock band Magnum. It was released in 1980 on Jet Records. Magnum recorded Marauder over one night at London's Marquee Club on 15 December 1979. It was an attempt by Jet Records to revive the success of the debut album Kingdom of Madness following the failure of Magnum II. The album was recorded on multi-track by former-Ten Years After bass player Leo Lyons, who had recorded Magnum II, and mixed by Chris Tsangarides.

Saw Magnum play live so many times in the 1980s and early 1990s. Although they modified them over the years when they played them live, I think that I still prefer these original versions of classic songs such as 'The Spirit', 'Soldier Of The Line' and 'Sacred Hour'. I seem to remember that this album was produced by Jeff Glixman, who produced some of the finest albums by Kansas (such as 'Leftoverture'), and they were an influence on Magnum. I am pleased to see that Magnum are still touring. awesome 3rd album from kick ass english rock band magnum, so underrated too this might be my favourite magnum album. i love it a lot. so raw too, if we are gonna talk underrated british rock bands, then top 2 are magnum and budgie. i love both a lot. fuck yes real rock. and a kick ass album cover too.

Chase The Dragon - Magnum. Import, Extra Tracks, Remastered. Chase the dragon is a great album, and when this CD was rereleased i rushed to the store to get it. Unfortunately, all the extra tracks have been released before and some of the tracks labeled as "live tracks" are not even live! A real Magnum fan already owns all of these tracks. Ok, the CD is remastered, but don't expect to get any tracks not previously released
