DNA is the tenth studio album by the Backstreet Boys. It was released on January 23, 2019, by RCA Records. The album features tracks written by Lauv, Andy Grammer, and Stuart Crichton. This is the group's second album, after 2007's Unbreakable, to neglect involvement from longtime producers and friends Max Martin and Kristian Lundin.

All of DNA's studio tracks and a handful of live ones are here, even the four songs from No New York. Damn, Francis Crick just died. People joke that if you've heard one DNA song, you've heard them all, but you really need at least two: one with keyboardist Robin Lee Crutchfield, and another with his vastly more capable replacement, Pere Ubu bassist Tim Wright
section on the playful Passionate. Yet, the more current sounds don’t overshadow the Backstreet Boys’ powerful voices. They’re each given their own time to shine on the album, and DNA includes plenty of those swoon-worthy harmonies that fans have loved since the beginning. There’s even an entirely a cappella tune, Breathe – the best showcase of BSB’s vocal abilities on DNA, and a reminder that they’ve still got the chops more than 25 years later.

The DNA molecules that store the audio information are in the thin, bright layer (arrow). The music of the whole album requires 5,000 of these spheres. Photograph: ETH Zurich, Robert Grass). One of the largest files stored in DNA. Grass and Heckel developed this technology at ETH Zurich three years ago, ultimately storing the text of the Swiss Federal Charter of 1291 in one of these small glass spheres for a technical feasibility study. What is new about the project with Massive Attack is that this technology is now also being used commercially, says Grass . Listen to a clip from Massive Attack’s Teardrop (MP3, 1017 KB) in the same audio quality that was stored on DNA. Innovation.
