The Dave Deke Combo, a band of Los Angeles country rockabillies, consist of three Midwest transplants - leaders Dave Stuckey and Deke Dickerson, plus drummer Lance - and only one West Coast native, bassist Shorty. After releasing several 7" singles and an EP, the group's album debut, Moonshine Melodies, appeared in 1993 on the British label No Hit Records.
