Björk is the only studio album by Icelandic singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir as a child singer, released on 18 December 1977 by Fálkinn. In 1976, Björk appeared on Icelandic radio singing "I Love to Love" through the music school she attended, which led her to a record deal and the release, with the help of stepfather Sævar, of her first solo album in 1977.

Released June 13, 1995. 1. Army of Me Lyrics. Moreover, Björk co-produced every song on the album. Post received widespread critical acclaim and was a commercial success, charting at number 2 in the United Kingdom and number 32 in the United States. It was certified gold in New Zealand and Sweden, and platinum in Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Bjork has said about the album title: It was a combination of things. I felt the album was the other half of Debut, so it made sense to call it Post - before and after kinda thing.

Whereas Björk's previous album Debut (1993) was produced almost entirely by Nellee Hooper, Björk produced Post with collaborators including Hooper, 808 State's Graham Massey, and former Massive Attack member Tricky. Media attention and the extensive Post Tour were detrimental to Björk's wellbeing. She survived a murder attempt, and caused controversy by assaulting a reporter. Björk would relocate away from the press in Spain to produce her next album, Homogenic.

Army of Me" is a song recorded by Icelandic musician Björk for her third studio album Post (1995). It was released on 21 April 1995 by One Little Indian as the lead single from the album. The song was written and produced by Björk and Graham Massey, who helped her in producing and writing the majority of her third album.

On her 1993 solo album, Debut, she finally toned down the rowdy theatrics of the Sugarcubes and began to fiddle with jazz rhythms and electronic effects with some success. Post sounds like the culmination of her quest. It’s full of fantasy, humor and the grandiose, melodramatic, wide-open feel of old film scores. Most importantly, the music here finally challenges her voice.
