subtitled Live 2002) is a double live album by Paul McCartney from his spring 2002 Driving USA Tour in the US in support of his 2001 release Driving Rain. It was released with an accompanying DVD to commemorate his first set of concerts in almost ten years.

Paul’s Back In The US Tour picked up where his Driving USA Tour had left off, just a few months before, sweeping through 23 more American cities.

Another album, another tour, another live album souvenir of the tour. Paul McCartney has essentially followed this pattern since his 1989 return to arenas for the supporting tour for Flowers in the Dirt, and each of the records is essentially the same: the big solo hits, some of the big Beatles songs, plus a few tunes from the latest solo album

Paul McCartney told Mojo magazine October 2008 that the song's middle-eight was a spoof of the Beach Boys leading up to Pet Sounds. He added: "The rest is (sings first bars of the melody line of the opening verse) more Jerry Lee (Lewis). And the title is Chuck Berry, Back In The . and the song itself is more a take on Chuck. You'd get these soldiers back from Korea or Vietnam, wherever the hell, and Chuck was picking up on that. I thought it was a funny idea to spoof that with the most unlikely thing of way back in Siberia. There was a rumor in the Soviet Union that. Paul McCartney used this as the title to an album he released only in Russia in 1989. In 2002, McCartney called his US tour the "Back In The US" tour.

Like many of McCartney’s early triumphs, The Back Seat of My Car could have been a Beatles song: He played them an early version in 1969. Two years later, he revived it as Ram’s grand orchestral finale. A really teenage song, he said in 2001. Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich pushed McCartney out of his comfort zone on Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, getting Paul to play nearly every instrument himself for the first time in decades. The results, as heard on this urgent, piano-driven jam, came out sounding classic.
