Pink noise or 1⁄f noise is a signal or process with a frequency spectrum such that the power spectral density (energy or power per frequency interval) is inversely proportional to the frequency of the signal. Pink noise is the most common signal in biological systems. In pink noise, each octave (halving/doubling in frequency) carries an equal amount of noise energy. The name arises from the pink appearance of visible light with this power spectrum.

With the release of Nicki Minaj's latest album, the demand for her innovative Urban crossover sound has gone up. This pack includes nothing but unique, one-of-a-kind melodies and rhythms. Drum patterns never heard before and synth lines that scream hit record. Heavy 808's, synths, pianos, strings, drums and other elements are all included in over 800 MB of premiem content

Pink Floyd’s third album is also its first without erratic founding member Syd Barrett, and it finds the band leaning heavily on recent addition David Gilmour. The results are wildly uneven, with psych-tinged, pastoral folk ballads pressed up uncomfortably against avant-garde sound experiments. Barrett’s heavy drug use is often cited as a reason for him leaving the band, so it’s richly ironic that their first album without him is the original motion picture soundtrack for More, a French film that depicts the unraveling effects of drug addiction

Also out today is the video for So Lucky - as you can see from this YouTube embed holding image's 'fortune teller on a pink sports car' tableau it's a typically understated affair. It is the final song of Pink Floyd’s penultimate album. It stood for 20 years as the band’s swan song (until Gilmour and Mason reunited to work on a final homage to the late Richard Wright) and sounds like it, as there are many references, both in music and lyrics, to previous Pink Floyd Songs, and ends with a recording of then Pink Floyd producer Steve O'Rourke, while Astronomy Domine, the. first track of Pink Floyd’s debut album, opened with a recording of then Pink Floyd producer Peter Jenner.
