Pain of Salvation has been different from its inception. I wanted a name that meant something, a name that was more than a cool expression. For me, Pain of Salvation has the meaning of balance.
In late 2001, Pain of Salvation recorded their fourth album, Remedy Lane, which was almost entirely written during a two-month period from August to September 2001 by Daniel Gildenlöw.
