Stranger than Fiction is the eighth full-length studio album (tenth release overall) by Bad Religion, released in 1994 (see 1994 in music). Stranger Than Fiction was their first album released on the major label Atlantic Records (although that label re-released the previous album, Recipe for Hate), and also its last release with guitarist Brett Gurewitz, who left just prior to the album's 1994-1995 world tour, only to return to the band seven years later.
New Religion is Primal Fear's seventh full-length album, released on 21 September 2007. Music videos were made for "Fighting the Darkness" and "Sign of Fear". Ralf Scheepers – lead vocals. Henny Wolter – guitars. Stefan Leibing – guitars. Mat Sinner – bass guitar, vocals. Additional Musicians. Simone Simons – Female Vocals on "Everytime It Rains". Magnus Karlsson – Lead Guitars on "Everytime It Rains". Tobias Lundgren – Backing Vocals. Ronny Milianowicz – Loops.
Sex & Religion is a studio album by guitarist Steve Vai, released under the band name "Vai" on July 23, 1993 through Relativity Records. The album features future Devin Townsend Project and Strapping Young Lad singer and guitarist Devin Townsend on vocals. Townsend also co-wrote the tracks "Pig" and "Just Cartilage", the latter of which was only released as a bonus track in Japan. Vai also co-wrote "In My Dreams with You" with Desmond Child and Roger Greenawalt.
No one’s gonna take my soul away I'm living like Jim Morrison Headed towards a fucked up holiday Motel sprees, sprees and I’m singing "Fuck yeah, give it to me, this is Heaven, what I truly want. It's innocence lost, innocence lost.
This is the record that took Bad Religion from being a premiere punk band to becoming something far bigger. Featuring iconic cover art by Fred Hidalgo, "Recipe For Hate" retains the band's hallmark energy and rebellion exemplified by the classic "American Jesus," but the sonic palette has been slightly expanded. With "Struck A Nerve" the album featured the band's first song to be played on radio since their debut seven inch. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blond contribute guest vocals
