Here I Am, the fifth album by Dionne Warwick, was recorded during the summer and fall of 1965 and released in December 1965 by Scepter Records. The LP was produced by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. This album, as was usually the case until 1968, was recorded at Bell Sound Studios in New York City. The album's lead single, the title track "Here I Am", was featured in the film What's New, Pussycat? Despite this, the single failed to make the Top 40 in the United States

Kelly Rowland's third album, following a split with manager Mathew Knowles and label Columbia, is as much of a patchwork as 2007’s Ms. Kelly. There’s an extensive cast of producers and songwriters, as well as a handful of guest MCs. The set aims at the R&B, pop, and dance markets with clear distinctions, so several songs sound like isolated projects rather than pieces of a whole. That said, there is a little more focus on appealing to hip-hop and R&B radio

People are still buzzing about her sizzling performance at the BET Awards, and Kelly Rowland keeps the momentum going by unveiling the close-up cover for her third solo album Here I Am, dropping July 26. The Destiny’s Child diva’s first project for Universal Republic features the Lil Wayne-assisted smash Motivation and Lay It on Me with Big Sean. On Here I Am, the title telegraphs the message-ladies and gentlemen, the real Kelly Rowland-but the 2011 model sounds just about the same as the Rowland of Ms. Kelly (2007). She’s a strong, agile R&B vocalist who generates little excitement-adept, but not convincing, playing the club diva (in the David Guetta-produced Euro smash Commander ) and the sexual aggressor ( Work It Man )
