Richard Pryor is the debut album of comedian Richard Pryor. It was recorded live in 1968 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. Gary Burden, an American artist, designed the album cover which was nominated for Best Album Cover at the 12th Annual Grammy Awards. Gary Burden, who designed the album cover, said Pryor wanted to do something "kind of Roots-y" for the cover

His playing expressed a lyricism coupled with dazzling technique that was perhaps unequaled for his time. Pryor came to the Sousa's Band as trombone soloist in 1892, leaving a position as conductor of the Stanley Opera Company. He became the star attraction of Sousa's Band, also serving as assistant conductor from 1895 to 1902. In 1903, the last year he played with Sousa before resigning to form his own band, Pryor was a part of the Sousa's Band's European tour. His solo performances were most favorably received

Forest were an English psychedelic-folk, acid-folk trio who formed in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, in 1966. Made up of brothers Martin Welham, Adrian Welham and school friend Dez Allenby, they started out performing unaccompanied traditional folk music in a similar vein to contemporaries The Watersons and The Young Tradition. The band were pioneers of the nascent 1960s underground /acid-folk scene writing unconventionally crafted songs evoking Britain's ancient groves using a variety of acoustic instruments. Sundown on the Forest

The Band is the second studio album by the Band, released on September 22, 1969. It is also known as The Brown Album. According to Rob Bowman's liner notes for the 2000 reissue, The Band has been viewed as a concept album, with the songs focusing on people, places and traditions associated with an older version of Americana.

The album is the product of Mike Shinoda’s dissatisfaction with early electropop-centric demos he had originally made for the band’s sixth album. The Hunting Party Q&A. Where does the title come from? Mike told Complex: The album title came from a piece I read about online

The Forest is the production of the species ‘survival horror’ played first-person perspective. The player takes the sole survivor of a plane crash who must survive in the woods title which is home to a tribe of cannibalistic mutants. Interestingly, they have their own beliefs, family or system of values influencing their behavior. The game is a day and night cycle defining the pace of the game. The Forest does not neglect to remind the player that he isn’t the only one on the island, and that there is in every case some place an uncovered free wheeler who has made the storage compartment with his child. We move in a perpetual weight and in the dread of intersection an option that is other than an adorable squirrel or a decent turtle. Sometime, and for the most part when you wouldn’t dare hoping anymore, at long last occurs: what we thought was a straightforward winged animal is really a man-eater slip that pursues us.

Orange Juice – Rip It Up (1982) For most people, Scottish band Orange Juice was a one-hit wonder known for the UK Top 10 song Orange Juice, which was one of their most keyboard-driven New Wave-y tunes. But for those who bothered to listen beyond the opening title track, Rip It Up was an overlooked post-punk gem with funk rhythms, angular guitars and catchy melodies. There was little else like this in the . indie scene of the time, and no one has managed to replicate the daring beauty and unkempt charm that this quartet accomplished during their short stint together. If the Lisbon sisters of The Virgin Suicides grew up in late ’70s England, this is the music they would make.
