Zoo Rave, Vol. 1. (CD - Zoo Entertainment. The two volumes of rave music in the Zoo Rave series are cursory introductions to the early-'90s dance phenomenon, giving a good impression of the hard, relentless drive of the underground style, but including none of the music's best artists or tracks. While Zoo Rave isn't definitive or respected by hardcore rave fans, it's a worthwhile introduction for listeners unfamiliar with the subgenre.

First of all, this album is from 1993, so late 90's is impossible. A great album packed with a variety of good tunes! Good early Techno. Not too Trance, not too Rave, just good middle of the way techno. 4 people found this helpful. If you are not well versed in artists of this genre, this cd is a great place to start with an introduction along with the Zoo Rave I album.
