Vorax – por sentimiento pesado. Back in the early 90´s Vorax was a pretty unknown Metal band in Argentina, then in late 1996 or so, Ricardo Iorio recruited Vorax’s drummer, Walter Martinez to play with Almafuerte and Walter recorded three albums with them, 1997´s En Vida, 1998´s Almafuerte and 1999´s A Fondo Blanco. Then Martinez left the band and quickly reunited Vorax and within six months they managed to pull out this goddamn great album. Por Sentimiento Pesado came out in November 2000 and whether if you believe me or not, this harkens back to 1989 or 1990. The album kicks off with Asesino Inmune which moves at really efficient pace and shows an excellent riff backed up by intense drumming and quality soloing.
