Frédéric François Chopin (/ˈʃoʊpæ̃/; French: ; Polish: ; 1 March 1810 – 17 October 1849) was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era who wrote primarily for solo piano. He has maintained worldwide renown as a leading musician of his era, one whose "poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation.

Frédéric François Chopin (1 March 1810 – 17 October 1849) was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era who wrote primarily for solo piano.

Frederic Francois Chopin was a Polish composer, virtuoso pianist, and music teacher of French–Polish parentage. He was one of the great masters of Romantic piano music. Chopin was born in Zelazowa Wola, a village in the Duchy of Warsaw. He was considered a child prodigy and, after completing his musical education and following the Russian suppression of the Polish 1830 Uprising, he settled in Paris. He supported himself as a composer and piano teacher, giving few public performances. From 1837 to 1847 he carried on a relationship with the French woman writer George Sand.

Frederic Chopin: Album. Matériel : Partition. Format: piano solo book. With introductory text and performance notes. Published by Schirmer. Instrumentation : Piano seul.

Polish composer and pianist (b. 22 February or 1 March 1810 at Żelazowa Wola; d. 17 October 1849 in Paris), born Fryderyk Chopin. Although Chopin hated the Russians, or, more precisely, the moskali ('Muscovite') soldiers who invaded his homeland in 1831 to crush the Polish uprising, this did not prevent his music from becoming very popular in Russia from the 1830s onwards.
