These previously-released Raydia tracks have been cut up and sampled to create a mix of hip-hop beats featuring catchy organ melodies, flute trills, brass samples, deep bass, punchy drums and arpeggiated synths. 48 kHz, 24-bit PCM – Raydia Studio Masters. Part 2 starts with a 12-inch remix of Don't You (Forget About Me) and moves on in the band's career up to a song from their latest album. This mix has eight remixes and six album tracks. I know this is heresy, but I prefer Simple Minds Part 2 to Part 1 song-wise. That isn't a knock on their early material, which is brilliant, but I find their latter material more musical. Street Fighting Years is my favourite Simple Minds album - which, again, I get is heresy for most. Reverb has been added to make this mix feel a tad more live.
