I'm Still in Love with You is the fifth studio album by the American gospel and soul singer Al Green, released on October 23, 1972, on Hi Records. Recording sessions took place during 1972. The album was produced solely by Willie Mitchell.

This five-man band’s album features Al Perkins at the production helm and a line-up of acoustic guitars, electric guitar leads, bass, drums, pedal steel, dobro, piano, congas and all that other good cowboy stuff. Nothing too rugged; just that natural relaxed easygoing rural groove with gentle melodies, airy harmonies and mellow instrumentation, slowing down for a couple string-orchestrated ballads. I was an old girlfriend of Randy’s brother, and it was through Randy and his mom and the saints there that I’d gotten saved in 1975. I’m STILL the only one in my huge Catholic Italian family who’s been truly born again, and brought out of the darkness into His glorious light. There’s never, in MY eyes, been another Christian album that even comes CLOSE to ‘Come on in’ and I’ve always wondered why COTL never made more of them.

Al Perkins is a Texas-born American guitarist known primarily for his steel guitar work. By 1966, he enlisted into the Army National Guard and was discharged from the US Army Reserves in 1970. lt;/p
