Greatest Hits (sometimes referred to as Kenny Rogers' Greatest Hits) is the second compilation album by country music superstar Kenny Rogers. It was released in September 1980 and issued by Liberty Records. The album marks Rogers' first release after United Artists Group merged with Liberty. The album has achieved diamond certification.

This album puts it into perspective with the seven Top 40 hits the group accrued between 1968 and 1970, as well as "Love Woman," "Momma's Waiting," and the Mac Davis title "I Believe in Music," which Gallery hit with and which was covered by many others, including Helen Reddy. It's not chronological, and opening up with "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town" (as Rogers does with his 1978 solo greatest hits package, Ten Years of Gold) is probably more of a personal decision.

One person found this helpful. Kenny Rogers is one of my top five all time singers. And he went back and recorded some of these songs as a solo act. And probably because of that I like his solo stuff better.

Though the group didn't have enough strong material to make the compilation consistently entertaining, this single-disc collection is nevertheless the definitive retrospective of Rogers' early years.
