We Used to Be Friends" is a song by American alternative rock band The Dandy Warhols. It was released as the lead single from their fourth studio album Welcome to the Monkey House on 23 April 2003. The single failed to chart in the US but peaked at number 18 in the UK. The song bears a similar intro riff and vocal melody to that of a Feeder song "Day In Day Out", and the band have listed Grant Nicholas as co-writer.

Kids See Ghosts is the eponymous debut studio album by American hip hop duo Kids See Ghosts, composed of Kanye West and Kid Cudi. It was released on June 8, 2018, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. Prior to the album, West and Cudi enjoyed a strong relationship as close friends and musical allies since meeting in 2008, and expressed a desire to record a collaborative album. However, the album never materialized and the duo instead experienced brief falling-outs in 2013 and 2016

The Romans used to pay their soldiers partly in salt. Salt used to be very valuable and soldiers would sell it for other things. The word 'salary' means 'salt money' and the expression 'worth your salt' ( good at your job) comes from this. Traders used to prefer metals, like gold and silver, because, unlike a sheep, they would last a long time. Granny Grace and Granddad Graham live quietly in the countryside now. Sometimes they like to look at their photo album and remember how their lives used to be. Make sentences with used to. Example: Granny Grace used to walk in the park on Sundays. You have to go about making friends differently in a small town. If your town has a bookstore (even a small independent or used book store), a coffee shop, or diner you can spend some time at, frequent them and allow folks to get to know you this way. They’ll feel more comfortable talking to someone they see a lot and you’ll be more at ease being a regular in these places. This is the ideal situation for making conversation and for finding out what’s going on around town. Use Online Friends and Long-Distance Pals to Boost Your Confidence. Notes

This LP was recorded in the Summer of 2015 at the A&O-Studio in Berlin. We recorded most of the songs live, as a whole band in front of 21 microphones. Sometimes we opened the windows to let a cool breeze in and smell the rain‘s earthy scent. We even did a seven minute recording of heavy rainfall, but that track unfortunately never made it on the album.
