Strands by Seren Ffordd, released 20 February 2011 1. Strands 1 2. Strands 2 3. Strands 3 4. Strands 4 Strands as an album developed out of wanting to focus on the guitar as the main sound source. Track 1 includes other sounds played on a Roland VP9000 which Oophoi kindly allowed me to recycle from our work on other projects. Tracks 2 – 4 are all recorded from guitar only, using numerous effects such as TC M3000 and those in the Korg D16 and Roland VS2480. Track 3 is almost completely rhythmical, using the guitar and effects to create evolving rhythms.
