Only 4 songs are from the golden 70s er. ven if GLASNOST cannot be compared to the grandeur of ''BJH LIVE'' and ''LIVE TAPES'', this. is still a good live album from a band in good form.

This album was recorded on Tuesday 14th July 1987 at Treptower Park, Berlin, GDR and mixed at Advision Studios in London. The Concert performed by Barclay James Harvest was organised by the GDR Authorities as part of the celebrations to commemorate the 750th anniversary of Berlin. Disc One: Track 1 & 8: previously unreleased Disc Two Track 4, 5 & 8: previously unreleased.
