Code of the Road" a good live album by a great musician, but if you're looking for the truly great Nils Lofgren live album you have to find "Night After Night" (1977). Night After Night" contains many of the same songs but in consistently extraordinary versions. Almost 25 years later, "Night After Night" still gives me the shivers and will continue to do so when - in 40 years time - I am in a long-term care facility. I know of no better live rock album, and "Code of the Road" is, alas, pale by comparison.
