Yaltah Menuhin (7 October 1921 – 9 June 2001) was an American-born British pianist, artist and poet. Yaltah was born in San Francisco, the youngest of three extraordinarily musically gifted children. Her siblings were Yehudi Menuhin and Hephzibah Menuhin. Through her father Moshe Menuhin, a former rabbinical student and anti-Zionist writer, Menuhin was descended from a distinguished rabbinical dynasty. Yaltah was named after her mother, Marutha's, home town of Yalta in Crimea

Cécile was born in Tarbes, France, and gave her first recital at the age of five, subsequently studying at the Paris Conservatoire with Marcel Ciampi (who had formerly taught Yaltah and Hephzibah Menuhin) where, aged only fourteen, she was awarded first prize in the piano graduation class of 1950.
Yaltah Menuhin studied piano with Marcel Ciampi in Paris, Armando Silvestri in Rome and Carl Friedberg at the Juilliard School in New York. She recorded classical piano pieces and gave solo performances with orchestras from California to Paris and Geneva. Occasionally, Menuhin performed with her famous brother and with her sister.
