I have and still love my Yamaha AW4416, though I have rarely used it in the past couple of years, mostly as a line mixer. Though I found a way to connect to Logic recently. Using the ADAT card, I am now able to rout 8 tracks directly to Logic through my interface (Saffire Pro 40). Now, I am still able to send 8 tracks back to the Yamaha through ADAT. And I am thinking of doing that so that I can use the Yamaha as a summing mixer. Any glaring problems with my idea? Or anything in particular I should consider when I try this?
