The English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have released three studio albums, four extended plays (EPs), one box set, fourteen singles and thirteen music videos. Originally formed by eponymous frontman Noel Gallagher in 2010 following his departure from Oasis, the band released their self-titled debut album in October 2011.

The second track is more traditional High Flying Birds fare. Rattling Rose amounts to a dwelling arrangement of vast textural breadth, with a stop-start groove that feels both hypnotic and intellectual. In many ways, this may be a deliberate reassurance to fans of the band’s signature sound. Gallagher's oeuvre is more conservative than opposite number Damon Albarn’s, but that is not to diminish superb song-craft that really lifts once it gets going
