O. o it’s no big secret that I’ve started a band to play the album Bits. It seems like the most logical thing to do; people want to enjoy their rock music LOUD and in a dark club where they can consume food and drink. Well, who am I to say that they are wrong? The band, as of now, is still nameless. We’re floating along as Arman Bohn and the Bits Band and maybe that will stick. The Bits Band is Brad Kerr (bass), Gus Elg (keys) and Leb Borgerson (drums). We are a month or two away from being ready to play live

from Bits, released July 2, 2009. indie pop science rock atari electronic indie Portland. Streaming and Download help.

Arman Bohn started playing his own music in the Pacific Northwest college town of Bellingham, Washington in a band called Shed. Backed by Nick Harmer (bass) and Ben Gibbard (drums), Shed was the first band in which Bohn began to experiment with traditional pop song structure, alternate tunings, vocal harmonies and techniques. Jason McGerr took over for Ben on drums and the band eventually became known as Eureka Farm.

Bohn completed his first solo album "Bits" in 2009. Bohn and Sonnet played as The Misadventures of Two from 2005-2006. Sonnet completed his first solo album "Identify" in 2013 released on Marriage Records. Keller is in the band Virgin Islands. Gibbard, McGerr, and Harmer are in the band Death Cab for Cutie.

Arman Bohn got his start playing music well over a decade ago in a couple college bands in Bellingham, Washington. Back then he played with Nick Harmer on bass, Ben Gibbard on drums, and later Jason McGerr – now known as Death Cab for Cutie. Bohn recently released his first solo album, Bits, and has been systematically shooting videos for all the tracks himself, most impressive. He clearly got enough proper play time in his childhood, and like many of us, decided it was worth remembering and revisiting. There’s a lot of inspiration there if you can tap into it, after all, you spent many years.

Arman Bohn released an EP of chiptune cover songs created with the Nintendo DS Monday Bohn previously recorded an album inspired by the Atari 2600 called Bits.
