Glorious Collision isn't the best thing Evergrey's ever done and its safe approach will unquestionably disappoint a few fans, but I've had a great time listening to the album recently. I think fans of power metal with irresistible choruses and impressive musicianship should love Glorious Collision - I know I sure did.

So, Evergrey has returned to the scene in 2011 with a VERY impressive album. Torn was very impressive album and a very personal album for me, the music got me through a hard time and I guess I'm a little biased towards the greatness of that particular album. I will say that as an album, this one (Glorious Collision) flows just as well, maybe even a little better than the predecessor, but song-wise, there were more anthems off of Torn that really reached my heart and made my hairs stand up.
