Small Town is a live album by Bill Frisell and Thomas Morgan recorded at the Village Vanguard in 2016 and released on the ECM label the following year. It was Frisell's first album for the label since 1987's Lookout for Hope. The voice is back and the crumpled paper poetry is back but this time with a bunch of fellow Karelian musicians to bounce off of. The result - four songs, oscillating from a gentle whisper to a desperate outcry, disjointed, reflection-fueled but unmistakably notforme! Release page Direct download (MP3)
