Acousmata - Explicit album flac

This first official release introduces Acousmata's experiments in algorithmic synthesis of rhythmic and non-rhythmic structures. The title Explicit inspired by David Bohm's and Karl Pribram's holographic paradigm.

My book Instruments for New Music – the project largely responsible for the death of Acousmata– came out in November 2015. A history of experimental sound technologies in Germany during the 1920s and ‘30s, it should be of interest to many readers of this blog.
