Eyes of a Stranger is an album released by the R&B band The Deele in 1987. The third album released by the Deele, it became the band's most commercially successful album, on the strength of what is perhaps the group's best-known hit, the R&B top 5 and pop top ten single, "Two Occasions," along with the R&B top ten follow-up, "Shoot 'Em Up Movies. It was shortly after the release of this album that primary group songwriters Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and . Reid left the band to pursue production work.

The Deele was formed in 1981 and originally comprised local Cincinnati musicians drummer Antonio ". Reid, bassist Kevin "Kayo" Roberson, st Darnell "Dee" Bristol, lead vocalist Carlos "Satin" Greene, t Stanley "Stick" Burke, and guitarist Steve "Tuck" Walters. Reid, Roberson, and Walters had been members of a previous Cincinnati-based band, Pure Essence. The above-mentioned Street Beat album was released in 1983, and the following year, a single from this album, "Body Talk" became The Deele's first hit, reaching on the R&B chart and on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. Burke left the band prior to the recording of a follow-up album. Recorded as a quintet, Material Thangz was released in 1985. It was not as successful as their debut album.

Material is the third studio album by American electronica band Blaqk Audio, consisting of Davey Havok and Jade Puget of AFI. it was released on April 15, 2016 under Blaqknoise/Kobalt Records. The first single from the album, "Anointed", was released on January 26 for streaming through SoundCloud and through digital retailers on February 19. Material for the album was written throughout 2014 and was recorded in 2015. Material was originally planned for a release in 2015.
