Don Veca David O'Neal. The Soviet Strike development team also created Nuclear Strike. EA released a PC port the same year; THQ developed and in 1999 published a Nintendo 64 version called Nuclear Strike 64. Nuclear Strike is a helicopter-based game, with strategy elements added to the action gameplay.

Don Veca is an American composer, sound designer and sound programmer known for his work with Electronic Arts. Don attended the San Jose State University and graduated with degrees in computer science and music. In May 1989, he worked at Apple Computer working on QuickTime, Sound, and MIDI until June 1992. Then, he joined Electronic Arts and stayed with them all the way until 2010. Then, he went to work for Activision where he still works today. Don programmed a sound driver which used MIDI files.

With the help of fellow Strike agents General Earle, Hacke (the technowizard who hacks computers which are able to power guns, missiles, et. and Andrea Grey, a news reporter who also doubles as a secret agent, you stop a madman named Shadowman from blowing up the Soviet Union.

Soviet Strike is a helicopter-based shooter game developed and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation in 1996 and the Sega Saturn in 1997. The game is a sequel to the Strike games which began on the Sega Mega Drive with Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf. Soviet Strike is the series' first instalment for a 32-bit console and was first conceived as 32-bit Strike. Early on, it was intended for the 3DO console, before development changed to the PlayStation
