You have to trust in yourself You must believe in yourself You have to follow your heart You overcome, improve, endure. Love for my love, hate for my hate Strength for my strength, pain for my pain Pride for my pride, match it inside Keep up your drive and fight to fight Because some shit ain't right Don't lose our sight Get our heads right Shine our star too bright Nothing in life is for sure It's just a gamble So. play it for all that it's worth. And don't forger to keep our heads high

Machine Head is an American heavy metal band from Oakland, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn and bassist Adam Duce. The band's aggressive musicianship made it one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal, and it is also considered to be part of the second wave of thrash metal bands from the 1990s. Machine Head's current lineup comprises Flynn and bassist Jared MacEachern

Supercharger is the fourth album by the groove metal band Machine Head. The release was ill-timed, and, as a result of little promotion, fell far short of the success of The Burning Red, which has sold about 134,000 copies in the US to date. Supercharger has sold about 45,000 copies in the US to date, making it a commercial failure. Supercharger Q&A.

Posted Jul 06, 2004 07:41 AM. Ultimate Guitar. Overall Impression - 8 This album is by far the most nu-metal I've Heard Machine head sing compared too burn my eyes this album is not amazing it is (and I want too make this clear) a good album but compared too what has been done in the past Machine Head have missed the bar. The most impressive songs on the album are: Bulldozer, White Knuckle Black-out, Crashing Around You and Kick You When Your Down. The fact that these are the first four songs is a coincidence even though the album does strengthen near the end. Overall this album is good and did not deserve half the crap that was said.

With Supercharger, Machine Head had two choices: continue on their nu-metal path and gain more popularity, or revert to the style on their previous albums and risk losing their new fans. Supercharger is an awful album, showing a great band at the very worst. Every speck of brilliance from Burn My Eyes is blown away by a whirlwind of turntables, rapping, appauling lyrics and uninspired instrumentation

Machine Head's Supercharger is, at its best, a monumental success. Since their searing debut Burn My Eyes, Machine Head have continuously exhibited that sadly rare quality-musical ambition. Not for them the post-Bush bleatings of Creed or the dumb bulldozing of Limp Bizkit. This album is bad by the standards Machine Head managed to set for themselves both before and after this album. It is good by the standards nü-metal had set at the time of its release.

Classic MACHINE HEAD at its best. 04. Crashing Around You (3:13). Possibly the most "radio-friendly" song on the offer and a likely first single, this one revolves around a simple, straight-forward drum beat and an extremely catchy chorus that is about as close to a "single" cut that MACHINE HEAD are ever likely to write. While not exactly representative of the rest of the album (or MACHINE HEAD, for that matter), it is a strong track that could potentially help expand the group's current fan base, given the right kind of exposure. While not the amazing album that everyone was hoping MACHINE HEAD would deliver at this stage of their career, Supercharger is definitely the most diverse and musically accomplished CD that the band have recorded so far, and it is one that stands a good chance of expanding the group's fan base without offending any of the band's current supporters.
