Lester Bullock (born 25 June 1953), better known by the stage name Dillinger, is a Jamaican reggae artist. He was part of the second wave of deejay toasters who rose to prominence during the mid-1970s. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, as a young man Dillinger would hang around Dennis Alcapone's El Paso sound system

Dillinger's maniacally adventurous sound and peerless daredevil live performances won them diehards within both the underground and the mainstream, including members of Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down and the Deftones, bands that all took them out on tour. Count among those famous fans Metallica; the thrash masters handpicked Dillinger to play 2013's Orion Music + More festival, and their co-founder Lars Ulrich has publicly sung DEP's praises as early as 2009

And yet, when one first hears the abrasive technicality of The Dillinger Escape Plan, pre-existing labels are hard to apply to the band's sound. Fronted for the majority of their career by vocalist Greg Puciato and masterminded by guitarist Ben Weinman, for close to two decades the ever-revolving band delivered a steady burst of hard, exciting music. They gave a needed reminder that extreme music needs no boundaries, able to weave together moments of beauty, discord, groove and every possible emotion through their music

Dillinger's members were from Quebec and Ontario Canada, and formed by brothers Robert Harrison (drums, vocals) and Jacques Harrison (keyboards, flute, sax, vocals) in Toronto 1973. This, their 2nd and final album was recorded between studios in Michigan and Toronto 1975/76. After this album, drummer Robert Harrison returned to his home in Quebec and joined the band Offenbach. Paul Kersey, ex-Max Webster came in as his replacement and the band went for a slightly less progressive sound, with more emphasis on hard rock. Amidst recording what was to be the 3rd Dillinger album, they then changed their name to The Hunt, resulting in the 1977 debut self titled album by 'The Hunt'.
