In linear algebra, an inner product space is a vector space with an additional structure called an inner product. This additional structure associates each pair of vectors in the space with a scalar quantity known as the inner product of the vectors. Inner products allow the rigorous introduction of intuitive geometrical notions such as the length of a vector or the angle between two vectors. They also provide the means of defining orthogonality between vectors (zero inner product).

Converging to a broken-symmetry state. There are two ways to converge to a broken-symmetry state in ORCA. Note that if multiple spin-flipping is to be done one does: "Flipspin X,Y,Z" where X,Y,Z are the atom numbers to be flipped.

Inner Space is a compilation album of Chick Corea music released by Atlantic Records in 1973. The album contains all four tracks from Corea's 1968 debut album, Tones for Joan's Bones as well as two previously unreleased tracks ("Inner Space" & "Guijira") from the same recording sessions and two tracks ("Windows" & "Trio for Flute, Bassoon and Piano") originally released on Hubert Laws' 1969 LP Laws' Cause.

Symmetry principles have turned out to be very important in the theory of fundamental interactions. In some cases the symmetries are exact within the limits of present knowledge. This symmetry allows a redefinition of the phase of the electron's wavefunction, different at each point in space, as long as one simultaneously makes a change in the scalar and vector potentials of electromagnetism, leaving all physics invariant. The existence of this symmetry predicts that electric charge is conserved. As far as is known, all particles and interactions respect this symmetry, and electric charge is conserved. Another possibility is that a symmetry may be explicitly broken.
