It was recorded on 19 and 20 May 1997 during the tour for The Boatman's Call and eight of these tracks (plus a version of "The Weeping Song") were originally released as a nine-track bonus disc for The Best of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds

Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the second live album and video by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was recorded on 22 April 2016 at the Royal Albert Hall, with accompaniment from the Parallax Orchestra conducted by Simon Dobson. The album was released on 2 December 2016 through the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic, with all proceeds being donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Singer-songwriter Jake Bugg is teaming up with the Royal Albert Hall to engage in the venue’s music workshops as part of the Hall’s education programme. Jake will headline the first workshops of 2014 in February followed later in the year by workshops from recent chart toppers, The 1975, and classical trumpet musician and winner of three Classical BRIT Awards, Alison Balsom. All three are carrying out workshops to support their appearances at the Hall in 2014 as part of its Albert Sessions initiative.
