Love Me Back is the second studio album by American R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan, released on November 29, 2010, by J Records. Sullivan co-wrote the album with producers Missy Elliott, Ne-Yo, No . Los da Mystro, and Salaam Remi, among others. The album debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and sold 57,000 copies in its first week. It produced two singles, including the lead single "Holding You Down (Goin' in Circles)", which peaked at number three on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart
Three remarkably distinctive Hot 100 singles, gold album sales, and five Grammy nominations later, the singer/songwriter’s safety was ensured. Thankfully, the J label isn't merely keeping Sullivan around but allowing her to remain her creative, imaginative self. Odds are that no other major-label R&B singer would be allowed to record a song like "Redemption," in which Sullivan raps cold-eyed in the first person as a female crack addict and as a male woman-beater while breaking up the tales with a fraught gospel chorus

The fragile songstress, dressed in all black, leans against an old-school Chevy Impala in the artwork from the November 2nd release, which contains the Missy Elliott-produced single Holding You Down (Goin’ in Circles). I was a little angry on the first album, busting windows and things, said the 23-year-old Sullivan. I’m not quite as angry on this one.
