Fake The Envy strive to play a brand of "edgy" electropop. Putting most of their efforts into songwriting, Fake The Envy base their sound on traditionally catchy yet haunting melodies with strong vocals. Since "As They Fall", Fake The Envy have released the full length album "Blind", and the EP "Interlude".
Fake The Envy were formed in 2001, and currently consists of Kristian Krøll, Kent Ricard Petersen and Jonas Gudjonsson. since 1989, in 2001 Kent and Kristian decide to form Fake The Envy, as a sort of side project to their respective bands. As it turns out, Fake The Envy begins demanding more and more of both members time, respectively, and in early 2006, their first album "As They Fall" is released
