Razavi's latest album, Quartet Plus, features original compositions that are steeped in the jazz tradition, but are forward reaching at the same time, creating a balance that is both familiar and innovative. Half of the music on this record is performed by a quartet (guitar, piano, bass, drums) while the other half features the quartet plus a 5-horn section.
