Le Gent's self-titled debut album is a good example of an R&B disc that had the makings of a hit but for whatever reason, fell through the cracks. The CD was produced by Timmy Gatling, who was known for his work with Bell Biv DeVoe, Stephanie Mills, Keith Sweat and others. Gatling wasn't as famous as . amp; Babyface or Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, but he had a decent resume and was highly regarded in urban contemporary circles.
