Marillion /məˈrɪliən/ are a British rock band, formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1979. They emerged from the post-punk music scene in Britain and existed as a bridge between the styles of punk rock and classic progressive rock, becoming the most commercially successful neo-progressive rock band of the 1980s.
Marillion agreed and the four nights in Oxford were filmed and then released. Demand allowed for a re-release on DVD in September 2002 with a plethora of extras, filmed mostly on the tour in November and December 1999. Track Listing: 01. Rich 02.
MARILLION is a Neo-Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United Kingdom. The debut album released by the line-up was Season's End, released in 1989. Much of the music had been recorded prior to Hogarth's arrival, and it showed. Although obviously dark and brooding almost throughout, the album was a statement of intent by a band determined to plough their own furrow in the music world.

MARILLION's fourth album "Clutching At Straws" was to be "old" MARILLION's farewell to the world. The album, dealing with the problems of drug addiction and alcoholism, was the final album to be made with Fish as front man and lyricist. Fish left the band in 1988 to pursue a solo career. MARILLION - HOGARTH (1989 - today) Their new sound seems more geared for radio play, although they still have an air of depression in the music. Season's End" was issued in 1989 with a new singer, a lot less inspired by Peter Gabriel, Steve HOGARTH
