Bloodbath over Bloodstock is a live DVD by Swedish death metal band Bloodbath. It features the entire live set the band played at Bloodstock Open Air in August 2010. It was filmed by the production company The Dark Box. It was released on April 25, 2011, by Peaceville Records. This is the final release with Mikael Åkerfeldt in the band as he quit in 2012. The DVD placed No. 3 in Finland and No. 9 in Sweden on the "Music DVD" chart. Mikael Åkerfeldt – vocals. Martin "Axe" Axenrot – drums.

From this one session the Breeding Death EP was written; the songs naturally & spontaneously coming together, and subsequently released in 1999. Upon releasing Breeding Death, Bloodbath described their style as "a tribute to the old-school death metal that reigned in the late '80s and onward. And the nightmare continued! Bloodbath - often wrongly referred to as just a retro project or all-star outfit - got fiercely placed back on the metal map with a new album. Very suitably entitled Nightmares Made Flesh (2004), Bloodbath were determined to prove those wrong who thought we were dealing with a short-lived and rather fun-orientated back-to-the-roots unity.
Bloodbath Over Bloodstock’ presents Bloodbath live & in-the-flesh & was filmed in August 2010 at the famed Bloodstock festival. Bloodbath is a Swedish death metal supergroup from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1998. The band has released five full-length albums, two EPs and two DVDs depicting their performances at Wacken Open Air (in 2005) and Bloodstock Open Air (in 2010). The group comprises Martin Axenrot (Opeth), Anders Nyström (Katatonia), Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) and Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost).
