Here Umek has bettered a lot Richard D James' recent IDM/Techno. There is a good solid feel to the tracks thanks to the strong low frequency provided by forceful drums and decent bass, which is refreshing given some IDM can sound very fragile. The well structured tracks contain enchanting and interesting patterns overlapping and building, though the tracks are mostly predictable.
