Dirty Hits is a greatest hits album by Scottish rock band Primal Scream, released on 3 November 2003 by Columbia Records. The album is generally made up of chronologically listed singles, except the album tracks "Long Life", "Shoot Speed/Kill Light", and "Deep Hit of Morning Sun". The rare C86 single "Velocity Girl" is not included, neither is anything from Sonic Flower Groove or their self-titled 1989 album.

Scotland's Primal Scream provided the Brit-pop movement of the early '90s with one of its most revered albums, Screamadelica. The group's trippy blend of electronica, bluesy Stones-kissed alternative rock, and acid house fueled a lot of weekend benders, but they were never a singles band, which makes this first collection of "hits" both glorious and problematic

Love every note! Despite only recently listening to Primal Scream, i have since added so much more of their material to my collection.

For the uninitiated, Primal Scream have been the footballing equivalent of Liverpool FCover the past 15 years. They've talked the talk, walked the walk, had occasional flashes of brilliance, but always just missed out on the big prize. But if you take all those flashes of brilliance and package them into one 18-track Dirty Hits compilation, you've got yourself a fantastic album.
