The Saga Continues is a compilation album by Wu-Tang Clan, produced by long-time producer Mathematics released on October 13, 2017 on eOne. The album was mixed by Josh Gannet. The group name was shortened to "Wu-Tang" to mark the fact that the album features all Wu-Tang Clan members except U-God due to his legal issues with the group over royalties. It also features guest appearance from Streetlife, Redman, Sean Price and others.
After 24 years, three little words still say it all, Wu Tang Clan.
Titled Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues, the album is set to drop on October 13 and will be executively produced by RZA. In a written statement, RZA said that the album is up to par with the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan’s line of work, which still holds up till this day. For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by Wu-Tang Clan members and other prominent MCs. Summary: Not an official Wu-Tang Clan album (thus the shorten name), the release produced by Mathematics does feature many of its members with guest appearances by Cappadonna, Ghostface Killah, Hue Hef, Inspektah Deck, Mzee Jones, Killa Priest, Steven Latorre, Masta Killa, Method Man, R-Mean,Not an official Wu-Tang Clan album (thus the shorten name), the release produced by Mathematics does. The Saga Continues is not the home run that Wu-Tang Clan fans have been waiting for, but to keep the baseball analogy, it’s an RBI double. Mathematics does some much-needed course correction.
