The Wonder of You is a compilation album by American singer Elvis Presley (1935–77). It was released on October 21, 2016 by RCA Records and Legacy Recordings. The album features archival vocal recordings of Elvis accompanied by new orchestral arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded at the Abbey Road Studios. It also features a duet with German singer Helene Fischer.

Elvis is the eighteenth studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released in July 1973. It sold over 1 million copies worldwide (despite being released soon after the much more successful Aloha from Hawaii). To differentiate it from his eponymous 1956 release it is sometimes called The "Fool" Album, after its first track. In the US "Fool" was issued as the B-side of "Steamroller Blues" from the Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite album

New album features powerful Elvis vocal performances with brand-new orchestral accompaniment. Follow up to the global phenomenon IF I CAN DREAM released in 2015. Hear the first single from the new album, A Big Hunk O’ Love, at ElvisTheMusic. SEPTEMBER 8, 2016 – Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, is proud to announce the release of The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, on October 21, 2016. Elvis always loved the great, operatic vocalists, says Priscilla Presley, executive producer of The Wonder of You. We often talked about his interest in recording material that allowed him to perform in that space. It’s exciting to hear him on these recordings, performing with the world-class Royal Philharmonic Orchestra via the magic of Abbey Road Studios.

Detailed discography of Elvis Presley in the US with sales figures for all of them. A huge frustration for people interested into Presley‘s US album sales is the lack of Soundscan data. As a reminder, Soundscan is the process which scans every sale at retailers since the start of 1991. All told, there is less than 20% of his albums for which we do own that key sales indicator, and for most of them the number is outdated. RCA permitted a large number of them through various licensing deals from the 70s to the 00s. Then, of course, there is Music Clubs, which used to be a significant actor of the music industry during the 90s and that is out of Soundscan’s panel.

It's still Elvis and therefore still worthy - but I expected a better record from them. 6 people found this helpful. This is the sort of Christmas gift for those who still play Presley tapes and records and will love the big sound these manipulations of voice and orchestra generate

Purporting to be the soundtrack to Elvis' second film, this album collects songs used in the film on one side with new material on the other.
