Awesome as Fuck (marketed as Awesome as F k, Awesome as , or Awesome: Live ) is a live album by American punk-rock band Green Day, released on March 22, 2011 by Reprise Records. The album is composed of tracks recorded during Green Day's 2009–10 21st Century Breakdown World Tour in support of their eighth studio album 21st Century Breakdown (2009). It includes a DVD of a concert recorded at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

Green Day recorded every show on the 21st Century Breakdown tour. When it concluded, the band members, singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tre Cool, sifted through the audio to deliver the best performances from their shows around the world. Unlike 2007's mini-album Live and Rare, which patched together performances from MCR's fall 2006/winter 2007 dates in the . and Europe, The Black Parade Is Dead! is a lavish CD/DVD affair chronicling two performances: the CD captures the band's October 7, 2007, Mexico City date - their last as the Black Parade - while the DVD features video. of that show as well as their October 24, 2007, date at Maxwell's in their home state of New Jersey.
Video: Green Day, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" Live in Japan. The performance, recorded at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, flows from black and white to color seamlessly as the four-piece rocks out to the former No. 2 song on the Billboard Hot 100 and GRAMMY Record of the Year. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong sprints about onstage, inciting the animated crowd to sing along, before ending with the song's rocking outro. Sound - 8 Awesome as F k captures what Green Day does live pretty well, and it's impressive that their 20 year-old punk songs can stand up so well next to their 2 year-old pop songs. If you're a big Green Day fan, you probably have Bullet in a Bible, so you've already heard some of these songs. The recordings of American Idiot, Holiday and Jesus of Suburbia are nearly identical to their previous live versions.
Green Day's Awesome As F k (CD+Blu-ray) album is a wonderful homage to all the reasons that many people are huge fans of this band. Having grown up listening to Green Day starting with Kerplunk, there has certainly been quite a bit of growth in the band right alongside me. Green Day is, without a doubt, one of the most entertaining live bands in the business. He does so without seeming to expend any effort at all and you find yourself mesmerized by the pied piper once again. I had the pleasure of seeing a concert on the 21st Century Breakdown tour and this CD/Video Disc set captures the magic of that experience quite well. Although it isn't as heavy as Bullet in a Bible, it packs a wallop on its own and will leave you begging for more. It was really nice to see Green Day include some of their older, less commercial hits on this album like ". R" and "Going To Pasalacqua".
