Totally a classic, and it weaves that line from blues to rock. At the time it came out it exposed people to some blues/rock and grabbed everyone by the heart strings. Such a powerful, Powerful!! song. RangeN Apr 07 2019, 03:10 AM reply.
Moore plays better than ever, spitting out an endless stream of fiery licks that are both technically impressive and soulful. It's no wonder Still Got the Blues was his biggest hit. Track Listing.
This old bar stool's feelin' higher 'Cause I've started sinkin' lower The minute that she waltzed right through that door Not long ago I held her, like a fool I went and left her Now she's with somebody new out on that floor. And she's got the rhythm and I got the blues And she's showin' me how much I had to lose With her every little move she's tellin' me I'm over you She's got the rhythm and I've got the blues.
She's got them bad, У неё так тяжело на душе, She feels so sad. And wants the world to know, Just what her blues are all about, But now the world will know, She's never gonna sing them no more. The blues ain't nothin' like a pain in your heart, When you get a bad start, When you and your man have to part.
It may seem odd to consider this moment in time as a ‘golden age of the blues,’ but in some ways it is exactly that. Because of new technology, it is now possible to dive into the waters of a wide range of artists or entire subgenres of the blues that may have ordinarily slipped under everybody’s radar – except for a select few who may have witnessed the music in person. So far 2017’s list of new releases feature mostly time-tested veterans who have nothing left to prove. Shepherd’s album Lay It On Down has many highlights, but the biggest may be ‘She’s $$$,’ a song that won’t get Shepherd any honorary awards from feminist groups with its adolescent leering at a comely female. But this isn’t an album intended for mature contemplation.
