Those who visit Schynige Platte with the cog railway feel like they are in the "Belle Epoque". The nostalgic train travels the seven-kilometre route in 50 minutes. Wooden benches in the carriages and rolling stock from the 19th century are reminiscent of bygone days. During the trip and on the mountain, visitors enjoy a wonderful view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Mountain railway tickets are personal, non-refundable, & non-transferable and can only be used on the day of validity .
