On this their debut album 'When Dream and Fate Collide' Frequency proves that a relatively unknown act on a small label can compete and even surpass bands that are leaders of their genre. Granted it does not happen too often, and that's part of what makes the surprise of discovering bands like these so fun and satisfying. Pyramaze, Deadly Sin, and Manitou are examples of some other uncommonly known bands that have impressed me in similar fashion. I just picked this release up (early 2007) but it will be my number album of the year for 2006 which was an extremely outstanding year for metal releases in and of itself. I can't wait to hear more from this incredible band! Though they might have set the bar so high it may be nearly impossible to top!!
