Kylie is the debut studio album by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue, released on 4 July 1988 by Mushroom Records. Minogue established as a child actress and joined the soap opera Neighbours in 1986 before signing to the record label in the following year. The album was produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, who also wrote nine of the ten tracks. It is a bubblegum pop and dance-pop album.

X is the tenth studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue. It was released on 21 November 2007 by Parlophone. The album introduced new American and European producers including Bloodshy & Avant, Guy Chambers, Calvin Harris and Freemasons. The album and subsequent remix album, Boombox would be Minogue's last release to be distributed through Mushroom Records in Australia until Golden, over a decade later.

She backed up the new material with a collection (Ultimate Kylie) that boasted excellent new material as well. All things seemed to be destined for further glory. And then, unfortunately, cancer hit.

It's been a tough few weeks for Kylie fans.
