I have to be honest, I didn't know what to expect from this album outside of the version of America:Free, which I had previously heard online and thought was a very well made tune. Sheila E has done a phenomenal job with the musical arrangement here. Purchase CD. Sheila . s Icon (2013). The latest musical project by Sheila . Icon, fuses pop, R&B, rock, Latin, and jazz sounds to create a unique style. In 1984, Sheila’s career took off, with the release of her first solo album, The Glamorous Life. Since its debut, Sheila has continued to grow as an artist, performer, and public figure. And her music catalog serves as an example of that evolution.

I had no idea this album was out. Thanks for the heads-up. is the third solo album by Sheila . released on Paisley Park Records in July 1987. Two singles were released from the album in the US, "Hold Me" and "Koo Koo". Love on a Blue Train" was the first single released in Japan. The album is notable for its Latin influence and prominent presence in this hybrid of jazz, rock, funk and salsa. The video for "Koo Koo" shows Sheila dancing with Cat Glover.
