Simple Minds - Ghost Dancing album flac

Once Upon a Time is the seventh studio album by Scottish pop rock band Simple Minds, released in October 1985 by record label Virgin (A&M in the US). The album paired the group with music producer Jimmy Iovine. He had worked with artists featuring an aggressive guitar-based sound, including singer-songwriters Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks, and he brought that approach to the band. Iovine particularly pushed frontman Jim Kerr, aiming for more energetic vocals.

Big Music is the sixteenth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds. It was released on 31 October 2014 by Sony Music. Honest Town" was released as the lead single on 10 October 2014. During the recording of Simple Minds previous studio album Graffiti Soul, Jim Kerr stated: We really are flowing with ideas at the moment and I do feel that we are possibly writing two albums simultaneously at present.

Simple Minds started work at The Townhouse in June, initiating the formal recordings of the album with Once Upon A Time, Ghost Dancing, Alive And Kicking, Oh Jungleland, I Wish You Were Here and Come A Long Way. Further recording and mixing was planned for later that month in the rural confines of Bearsville Studios in New York State where Clearmountain was based; and final mixing was planned for Iovine’s New York City base at Right Track Studios. In support of the album, Simple Minds undertook their longest and biggest tour yet, beginning in the USA in October 1985 (kicking off at Pughkeepsie on the 31st) and visiting mainland Europe, the UK, the USA again (now with The Call as support), Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. This included a series of massive outdoor summer concerts at Ibrox, Milton Keynes Bowl and Torhout-Werchter.
